Joni has written business books, designed and delivers training
programs for organizations such as the world leading Coaches
Training Institute (CTI) where she is on faculty. She has
advanced coach training in Organization and Relationship
Systems Coaching from the Center for Right Relationship.
Joni’s previous professional acclaim includes being an
international award-winning television journalist for the Canadian
Broadcasting Corporation, a nominee for Canadian Woman
Entrepreneur of the Year, and a recipient of the Canadian
Homebuilders Association's highest honour, the prestigious “Gold Georgie” award for excellence in interior design.
Joni is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF)
with the designation of Master Certified Coach (MCC) and
is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) from
CTI. Other memberships include the Canadian Association
of Professional Speakers (CAPS) and the International Federation
for Professional Speakers.
She is a past Co-Chair of the Women’s Enterprise Centre- a skills
development and lending agency for women entrepreneurs; a graduate
of Co-Active Leadership, Landmark Education and the Sterling Institute
of Relationship. She holds a Bachelor of Journalism with a
distinction of High Honours from Carlton University, and a
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University
of British Columbia.
