Committed to professional excellence, Joni is a faculty member of the world leading Coaches Training Institute (CTI) where she trains and supervises the development of coaches becoming professionally certified.  She designs and manages internal corporate coaching programs, is the Co-Author of The Inspired Business Approach and a columnist on workplace issues for the Vancouver daily newspaper The Province. As a corporate trainer, Joni leads interactive and engaging business, coaching and leadership development workshops internationally. Participants call her dynamic and passionate.

Education, Affiliations and Certifications

Joni is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) with the highest designation of Master Certified Coach (MCC) and is a former board member of the Vancouver ICF Chapter.  She is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) from CTI and an accredited practitioner of The Leadership Circle Profile, Culture Survey and Insights Discovery.  Joni is a graduate of Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching from the Center for Right Relationship, Co-Active Leadership, The Sterling Institute of Relationship and Landmark Education.  She holds degrees in Journalism, Psychology and Sociology.

BC (Before Coaching)

Prior to coaching, Joni was an international award winning television journalist for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, nominated for Canadian Woman Entrepreneur of the Year by one of the nation’s leading banks and is the former Co-Chair of the Women’s Enterprise Centre- a federal agency for women entrepreneurs.  She is the recipient of Fast Tracker of the Year by the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers and in another life won the coveted “Gold Georgie” – the Canadian Homebuilders Association’s top award for excellence in home construction and design.
