ICF Core Coaching Competencies
The following eleven core coaching competencies were developed to support greater understanding about the skills and approaches used within today’s coaching profession as defined by the International Coach Federation.
ICF Ethical Guidelines
Founded in 1995, the International Coach Federation is the governing body of its 17,000 Professional Coaches in 95 countries. ICF Coaches aspire to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects positively upon the coaching profession; are respectful of different approaches to coaching; and recognize that they are also bound by applicable laws and regulations.
ICF Recommendations for Selecting a Coach
