Joni Mar, CPCC, CNTC, CTIC, MCC, is a Master Certified Coach who excels at generating more powerful results with high performance individuals, leaders and teams. She specializes in elevating conscious leadership, executive presence, and emotional, social and relational intelligence.

Committed to Excellence

Committed to professional excellence, Joni is a faculty member of the world leading Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) where she trains and supervises coaches to become professionally certified, serves on Google’s Mastery Faculty and the Conscious Business Leadership Academy. She designs and manages internal corporate coaching programs and is the co-author of The Inspired Business Approach. In the leadership development space, Joni leads interactive and engaging business, coaching and leadership programs internationally. Participants call her dynamic and passionate.

Education, Affiliations and Certifications

Joni has been a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) since 2000,  awarded its highest designation of Master Certified Coach (MCC) in 2007. A credential received by fewer than 4% of the world’s coaches. She is a CTI Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), a Certified Neuro-Transformational Coach and Trainer and Certified Trauma Informed Coach.

She is an accredited practitioner of The Leadership Circle Profile (LCP), Collective Leadership Assessment (CLA), EQi 2.0, EQ 360 and Insights Discovery. Joni is a graduate of Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC) from the Center for Right Relationship, Co-Active Leadership Program, The Sterling Institute of Relationship and Landmark Education.  She holds degrees in Journalism, Psychology and Sociology.

BC (Before Coaching)

Prior to coaching, Joni was an international award winning television journalist for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC TV News), nominated for Canadian Woman Entrepreneur of the Year by one of the nation’s leading banks and former Co-Chair of the Women’s Enterprise Centre– a federal agency for women entrepreneurs.  She is the recipient of ‘Fast Tracker of the Year’ by the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers and in another life won the coveted “Gold Georgie” – the Canadian Homebuilders Association’s top award for excellence in home construction and design.
